Zeus is Rhea's sixth child. His father, Kronos, is a second generation god. Kronos had defied his father and succeeded him. Foreseeing that his own end would come in the same way, Kronos therefore swallowed his five children… His mother prayed to Mother Earth Gaia and Starry Sky Uranus so that Zeus, his sixth and last child, would not suffer the same fate as his siblings. They also sent Rhea to Lyktos on the island of Crete. When his mother, the goddess Rhea, gave birth to Zeus, she immediately kidnapped him to Crete and locked him in a cave. There was also a fairy who looked after baby Zeus. The fairy's name was Amaltheia. Many of the warriors who happily welcomed the birth of Zeus slammed their shields and made a noise so that the baby god's cries were not heard.Of course, there is a father waiting to swallow his last born child. But Rhea has a plan for this. Rhea wrapped a stone with a piece of cloth and made it look like a baby and made the kronos swallow. Thus, he managed to hide the existence of Zeus completely from kronos. When Zeus grew up, he defied his father as expected. His goal was to vomit back all his siblings that kronos had swallowed. He finally defeated his father and freed his siblings. He was now the sole ruler of the universe. There was no force that could stand against him. He divided duties among his siblings. They were now the Gods of Olympus. He took the skies for himself, gave the seas to his brother Poseidon, gave the underground to Hades. All the earth and Olympos would be considered the common property of the gods. and let's talk about the personality of zeus The Greeks have prayed to this selfish, arrogant and flirtatious god for thousands of years. He is known as the 'Father of Gods and humans'.He is the god of lightning and thunder. Like every god, it has a deterrent and dominating power.
